Terms And Conditions Of Use
Our products are made from only the finest ingredients and we strive to provide you with a gift that is special like no other. If you have sent chocolates, or indeed received a gift with which you are not entirely happy, please contact us with your comments. We need to know if we can improve, and will do all we can to put it right for you.
We at all times strive to comply with and exceed the requirements set out by all relevant legislation relating to the products and services we offer.
Our goods and services are offered subject to the following Terms and Conditions. These do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
Product & Packaging
Product and packaging are subject to change or substitution without prior notice. If necessary we will substitute for an equal or higher priced item directly as the majority of our orders are time critical and we may not have time to contact you. If time is available we will attempt to contact you.
Nut Allergies & Special Diets
Unfortunately, the majority of our products either contain nuts, or have been in the environment of nuts and, therefore, are not suitable for those with nut allergies. Similarly our products are not suitable for those on a dairy free or gluten free diet.
Postage & Delivery
Postage is extra. Delivery to the United Kingdom includes the U.K. mainland and Northern Ireland. Prices and delivery methods to all areas outside the United Kingdom will vary.
Prices
All our prices are in GBP Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the UK rate (17.5%). If you are eligible to claim back the sales tax, please contact us so that we may supply you with a VAT receipt.
Payment Methods
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Switch. All orders are credit card sanctioned prior to despatch, so please ensure details provided are correct. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for orders not being despatched at the requested time as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details or where a card has been refused by the issuer. It is your responsibility to ensure that all the necessary card details have been provided and that sufficient funds are available to make the payment.
Disputed or Fraudulent Transactions
In the event that you dispute a transaction or your payment card is used fraudulently to make a purchase with Chocology, you the consumer, are entitled to cancel the said payment(s). If payment has already been made, you, the customer, are entitled in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation (2000), to a re-credit or to have all sums returned to you by the card issuer.
LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMER
All our gifts are packed and dispatched with the utmost care and leave our hands in perfect condition, therefore, we are unable to take responsibility if any part of a gift is broken in transit by circumstances beyond our control.
