| Wedding Favours Chocology offers the Italian tradition whereby wedding guests receive a favour (traditionally a voile or netting parcel containing five sugared almonds package or box) containing five sugared almonds or chocolates, symbolising the hopes for the married couple of: Health Wealth Happiness Fertility and Long life Embossed or plain, square, round or hexagonal boxes, envelopes, cones, top hats and net parcels are available, decorated with fabric or crystal flowers, leaves, ribbons, hearts, doves or miniature champagne bottles, in a variety of colours and designs, to complement the colours of the bridal party and the setting and theme of the wedding. Gift cards are attached to the favours, personalised with your own wording and in a script to complement your wedding stationery.  Fabric swatches are used to ensure that the shade of ribbon, flowers or other decoration on the favours tones with, or matches, the colours of the bridal party. The gift cards attached to the favours are small and discrete but can include the names of the couple, the wedding date and a message, in a complementary typeset. Traditionally, favours contain five sugared almonds (a whole almond nut surrounded by chocolate praline and encased in a crisp sugar coating) to symbolise health, wealth, happiness, fertility and long life for the couple. However, an alternative to almonds is chocolate mints, or pralines, creams, caramels and liqueurs from speciality chocolatiers such as Neuhaus, Valrhona and Leonidas. Novelty chocolates are also available for the younger guests. Favours or other boxed or wrapped gifts of chocolates can also be ordered for baby showers, christenings, celebratory birthdays, bamitsphas, graduations and corporate events.
